Knowing what the two different oils are is important. Cannabidiol or CBD is a natural component of industrial cannabis or hemp. CBD oil is cannabis oil that has a significant content of cannabidiol, It is made from the leaves and flowers of the hemp or cannabis plants and not from its seeds like hemp oil. Hemp oils are mainly extracted from hemp seeds and do not contain CBD.

Don’t be confused by reading a label that says “CBD Oil from hemp” as that is not hemp oil. In the USA CBD extracted from hemp plants is legal but not CBD from cannabis plants

Tough to answer this in a short response, yes it’s legal to travel within Canada with CBD, but due to the new laws and different provincial laws there seems to be some confusion on what is allowed, this has been causing issues for some travelers. I have heard that some people have been asked to provide prescriptions, ACMPR Card, lab reports or have just been told its illegal or that it can’t cross from province to province. In conclusion, if you don’t want the hassle, don’t bring it, you can buy it there.

I wouldn’t do it. CBD may be legal for medical purposes in Canada, but our regulations on amounts of THC and the fact it mostly is made from cannabis plants and not hemp make it possible that its illegal wherever you are going, even if you read online that CBD is legal there… If it truly is legal at your destination, then buy it there

Always start with a low dose, to check it out.

I have heard of peoples anxiety increasing from CBD but the few people who told me also used THC at the same time. Eventually people will understand that when talking CBD let’s assume there is less than 0.3% THC in it.
